Sleep Advisor for the Sleep Council
I love my bed and I love to sleep!
However as a mum of two, Lilia (8) and Ben (5), I have had my fair share of lack of sleep over the years (and still do!) and I know the effects it can have. No one likes me when I’m grumpy!
I am passionate about the subject of sleep, and while I am not a medical professional, I have spent the last four years working at The Sleep Council giving advice and common sense practical tips to the general public who are suffering with their sleep or their children’s sleep.
I love to talk about the perfect sleep environment, so as well as offering advice over the phone, you may hear me on the radio or see my expert opinion in some of the national and consumer press.
Sleep is essential to health and wellbeing and while many of us take the time to eat healthily and exercise more, sleep often takes a back seat – but it’s time to make it a priority.
When I’m not working, you will find me in Yorkshire juggling the joys of housework, homework, after school activities and not forgetting the shift working husband.
Both my children were born premature and as it is a subject close to my heart, I am currently in the process of applying to be a Family Group volunteer for Bliss – the charity for babies born too soon, too small and too sick.
