Ellie and Fiona are two mums who have been friends since they were 11. Ellie has a background in marketing and Fiona is a chef who trained at Leith’s School of Food and Wine. Their children, Isabelle (seven) and Casper (nine), were both diagnosed with food allergies when they were babies, and this led their mums to write The Allergy Free Family Cookbook, which is full of recipes that the whole family can eat together that just happen to be free of dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soya, gluten, sesame and shellfish. They have also written The Allergy- Free Baby and Toddler Cookbook, which covers all aspects of weaning a food-allergic baby and will be in shops from January 2016.
