24 Days Wonderland Advent Calendar
This is every little girl’s dream and even better? No sugar high melt down to deal with every morning! This is an advent calendar where every day they get a little gift, from hair ties to bracelets and all in the form of a little magical wardrobe that they open each day. Politically correct? In a word no! this is girlie in the extreme but there are plenty of gender nutural options to follow, this is a full on Princess – fest and if you have one, she will love it!
The Naked Marshmallow Advent Calendar
Naked Marshmallow £15.00
This is unashamedly Aly’s favourite! What’s not to love, you get 6 different flavours ranging from Salted Caramel to Candy Floss and on day 25? A solid chocolate spoon for the perfect hot chocolate, with a Vanilla marshmallow to create a cracking start to Christmas Day. What could top that I hear you ask? It has it’s own burner so you can only flipping toast your own marshmallow’s every morning!!!!
Personalised Christmas Tree Advent Calendar
Not on the High Street £15
How lovely is this? You have a beautifully hand painted 3d Christmas tree and then each day the kids can pop out a new festive character to add to the tree creating a very festive scene by the end of it. This reverses the tradition of emptying an advent calendar, usually leaving you with a manky shell bereft of chocolate with its doors ripped off on Christmas day – a very sorry scene! This, on the other hand, adds to your calendar each day making it more beautiful rather than less and means that the kids have their very own Christmas tree in their bedroom!
Puzzle Advent Calendar
My Photo Puzzle £29.99
Now this is genius! You select a photo that you want to have made into a puzzle then each day, behind each door, are a few pieces of that puzzle that then join together on Christmas Eve to complete the puzzle and your photo! A great personalised advent calendar that the kids will love. You can also add the odd chocolate behind a few doors, for an additional charge, if you think they might need to be kept interested!
Lego Star Wars
Lego £ 19.99
A top 5 wouldn’t be complete without a Lego advent calendar. Definitely one for the older ones and also for mother’s (unlike me!) that are organised, as you need to make sure that you keep hold of all the pieces otherwise you kind of lose the finished effect! As once all the doors are opened and all the characters built throughout December, there is a fold out play mat to hopefully keep them entertained on Christmas Day while you wrestle with the turkey and rival the UN in their peace keeping missions, trying to ensure a harmonious day when surrounded by your entire family!
BONUS BALL – IT IS CHRISTMAS AFTER ALL!
You do not have to spend a fortune on Advent Calendar’s at Christmas, really all the kids want is a chocolate each morning and for that, to be honest, Tesco’s have smashed it this year with a variety of advent calendars at affordable prices, especially this one for £0.75. Happy days!
