Rainbows are a massive trend right now - in fact, Vogue magazine says that the rainbow is the style symbol of the season. Ooh la, la!

The inner 8 year old girl in me has been delighted as the high street has exploded with rainbow colours and patterns and I've been adding A LOT of rainbow to my already colourful wardrobe. Put it this way, if I could go out dressed as Rainbow Brite every day, then I would. But my kids just won't have it.
So, to satisfy my rainbow cravings I've put together my Top 5 rainbow finds from the high street and online stores, which are also budget friendly.
Rainbow Lightning Bolt T Shirt - Pickle London, £24
I discovered this relatively new brand on Instagram. Their tees and sweatshirts are fabulously colourful and designed to make you smile. Plus, £5 from every sale of their Happy sweatshirt goes to Mind, the UK mental health charity.
Rainbow Trainers - Next, £26
I've recently discovered that the older girls section of Next does shoes that go up to a size 7 - who knew? Let your feet do the talking in these rainbow beauties, which are a really easy way to wear the trend.
Rainbow Disco Bag - saywhatyouc.com, £38
Another Instagram find (I know, I know, I need to get out more!). Their bags are gorgeous and there's an extensive range, but this little gem really stole my heart when my friend Alex tipped me off it had landed. AND it's available in both black and white.
Rainbow Stripe Midi Dress - £20, Primark
This dress is getting a lot of love in the press and on TV currently and rightly so. It's really easy to chuck on with flats for the daytime (I like it with white trainers myself) and fear not, wearing an all over print needn't be scary as it actually doesn't draw the eye to just one part of the body.
Rainbow T Shirt, Little Bird, £4
Lets not forget the little ones who can also get in on the trend. The Little Bird range at Mothercare is awash with vibrant colours, including lots of rainbows. My favourite is this t shirt, which is currently in the sale, as the retro design reminds me of the classic English seaside holidays of my youth.
So, whilst the sun is shining and making everything feel a bit magical at the moment, get out there in your rainbow garb and shine too!
